1. Wash Your Hands
Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo.
  2. Removing the Bandage
    • When you get home, remove the bandage.
    • Do not re-bandage anymore.
  3. Cleaning Your Tattoo
    • Wash your tattoo gently using mild, soapy water.
    • Use only your clean hands—do not use a washcloth or sponge.
    • After washing, gently pat your tattoo dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
  4. Applying Cream
    • Allow the tattoo to air dry.
    • For the first 3–4 days, apply a small amount of cream to your tattoo.
      • Always use clean hands.
      • Avoid placing your fingers back into the cream jar after touching your tattoo (use a clean tool or portion out the cream beforehand).
    • Massage the cream gently into your skin.
    • Continue to apply cream 3–5 times daily, as needed.
  5. Amount of Cream
    • Use a minimal amount of cream—little and often is best.
  6. Clothing Care
    • Wear clean, soft clothing over your tattoo for the first two weeks.
    • Avoid anything abrasive or irritating.
  7. Special Care for Foot Tattoos
    • Go barefoot as often as possible during healing.
  8. Peeling and Scabbing
    • Around day 3 or 4, your tattoo may start to peel—this is normal.
    • Do not pick at peeling skin or scabs.
  9. Longer-Term Moisturizing
    • Continue to use cream or moisturizer for the next two weeks.
    • Apply it 1–2 times daily until your tattoo is fully healed.
